Unity Through Diversity
Mr. Gay Europe is a competition that selects an ambassador for the LGBTQIA+ community, focusing on raising awareness of important LGBTQIA+ issues. Each year, a new Mr. Gay Europe is crowned, who then serves as a spokesperson, advocating for equality, inclusion, and the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our Story
Since its launch at EuroPride in Oslo, Norway, in 2005, Mr. Gay Europe has been a key event for the LGBTQIA+ community. Over the years, the competition has taken place across Europe, with finals hosted in countries such as the Netherlands, Austria, Romania, Great Britain, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, Norway, and Italy.

From the start, our mission has been to uphold transparency, seriousness, and activism. We've built strong partnerships and remain focused on being a positive and proud presence in the community.​
As we near two decades of this journey, we are pleased to announce that the next edition will take place in Amsterdam in 2025, bringing together Europe's leading LGBTQIA+ ambassadors and activists.
